The VTBox DNA 250C electronic box mod features the latest Evolv chip, a color display, accurate performance, 200 watts of power, versatile temperature control, customizable themes, fast charging, and incredible customization through the downloadable Escribe software.
From a design perspective, the VTBox DNA 250C looks very similar to its predecessor, the DNA 250. The mod is made of aircraft-grade aluminum with a rubber finish that is both durable and non-slip. The buttons on the control panel are made of aluminum and should be more clickable than the previous VTBox device. You can purchase the new mod in black or black with red. On the control panel, you will see a 0.96-inch color TFT screen with a resolution of 160 × 80 pixels. In combination with Evolv's Escribe 2 and the theme designer, you can change font colors, replace backgrounds, and even upload themes for a truly customized look. Additionally, navigating through all the different menus is very simple thanks to the third "select" button that allows you to easily choose menu items.
Technically, the VTBox DNA250C pushes up to 200 watts of power thanks to its use of dual 18650 batteries that are hidden behind a magnetic panel. The cells are rechargeable via the micro USB port, which will quickly recharge them thanks to a 2 amp current. Accurate temperature control works with stainless steel, titanium, and nickel heating elements down to 0.08ohm with a maximum temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to temperature and variable wattage modes, there is also a boost mode that allows you to increase the initial power during firing, as well as a replay system that allows for perfect flavor production when using your favorite build or tank. Best of all, any of your favorite settings can be stored in memory slots, although it is not clear how many settings can be stored.
