Warranty and assistance on products sold


The products sold on the Svapoebasta.com website are covered by the legal warranty of conformity as provided by the Consumer Code Legislative Decree 206/05, which protects the consumer in case of purchase of defective products, products that do not work properly, or products that do not meet the declared use by the seller or the use for which that product is generally intended.

Svapoebasta.com guarantees its products and their accessories in accordance with the current legislation.

Regarding so-called perishable goods, such as products containing BATTERIES (eGo batteries, box mods with built-in batteries), a warranty of 6 (six) months from the date of purchase is provided, proven by a valid fiscal document (after this period, the burden of proof regarding the pre-existence of defects, flaws, and non-conformity of the product is reversed). The normal performance decay of internal batteries that occurs with each charging cycle is not covered by the warranty.

In any case, with regard to the temporal validity of the warranty, the date of purchase of the product is decisive; therefore, the eventual replacement of a damaged device does not entitle the consumer to a new warranty.

Electronic products not containing integrated batteries are covered by the warranty according to current regulations; however, mechanical damage to USB and/or Micro USB ports of devices with interchangeable batteries is not covered by the warranty, as it is possible to externally recharge the lithium cells. Other types of mechanical damage will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Rechargeable batteries (e.g. 18650, 18350, 26650, etc.) are consumable products and are not covered by the warranty because it is not possible to verify whether they have been improperly used.

Clearomizers, cartomizers, and e-liquid feeding systems (ATOMIZERS) are mechanical products and are covered by the warranty ONLY for manufacturing defects (e.g. broken glass, non-conforming threading, non-conforming painting, etc.).

Replacement heads (or coils or resistors) are consumable products and are not covered by the warranty.

The warranty on products purchased on the Svapoebasta.com website does not cover normal wear and tear. It does not apply if the defect or damage has been caused by non-compliant use and/or contrary to the intended use of the product.

The warranty will be valid only if the product is returned with its original packaging.

The following actions are considered non-compliant operations:

repairs or interventions carried out by unauthorized persons

  • opening of the device
  • manipulation of assembly components
  • defects or damage caused by falling, breaking, lightning, or liquid infiltration
  • defects or damage caused by mechanical, chemical, radio, and thermal influences
  • vaporization problems related to non-electrical defects (e.g. clogged head, spitting, burnt heads)

Technical Assistance and Kiwi Warranty

For problems related to device malfunctions, it is necessary to contact the dedicated customer service through the manufacturer's website.

The battery (Kiwi Pen and/or PowerBank) is covered for up to 6 months, while the electronic cigarette can enjoy an extended warranty of up to 24 months if registered on the official Kiwi Vapor website within 90 days of purchase.


ATTENTION
If the product withdrawn under warranty is found to be in perfect working order or if it is found that the damage has been caused by non-compliant use and/or contrary to the intended use of the product, the customer will be required to reimburse the costs incurred by the supplier for the withdrawal and return of the product.
