Why do we ask for identification documents
The Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) has issued a provision (art. 10 paragraph 2c) concerning the purchase of Inhalation Liquid Products (PLI). All online stores authorized to sell such products must comply with the following requirements.
Starting from April 18, 2021, in order to purchase these products, it will be necessary to declare to the seller (through a valid identification document) that you are of legal age.
This regulation has been deemed necessary to protect minors, reserving the sale of inhalation liquids exclusively for adults.
Which documents to send:
The suitable documents (i.e. valid) that can be sent digitally for verification purposes are as follows:
- Identity card
- Passport
- Driving license
- Tax code
How to send the identification document:
The procedure for sending your document will be very simple and immediate, and you can proceed in different ways:
1. Access your personal area, add the products you want to purchase to your cart, and follow the instructions before proceeding with the payment (click here to see the guide)
2. Access your personal area and follow the instructions in the "Upload documents" section (click here)
3. Send clear and legible photos of your document to our number on WhatsApp: WhatsApp 392 1221228, also indicating your name and surname used for registration
4. Send clear and legible photos of your document via email to: [email protected], also indicating your name and surname used for registration
In all cases, you will need to attach the image of the selected document, both FRONT and BACK.
Attention! The request for the document proving legal age will only happen once.
The identification document data you send us must correspond to the data entered during registration. Once your account is verified, you can proceed with the purchase of inhalation products (PLI) as before, without any changes.
Note: If the uploaded document does not match the account holder's name, we recommend correcting the data entered during registration. If this does not happen, Svapoebasta reserves the right to update the data based on the valid document received.
In order to safely purchase your favorite products online, we invite you to pay attention to some points that should be present on the online site from which you make the purchase:
• Check that the site displays the AAMS authorization code
• Make purchases only after registering and creating a user profile or after updating it and verifying your legal age
• Make sure that the seller requires your identification document
