Nitecore UM2 Battery Charger
A 9V 2A QC 2.0 adapter is required).
The UM2 charger is equipped with a specially optimized program for IMR batteries that monitors the entire charging process, ensuring that the voltage is always within the safety limits to extend the life of the battery itself.
The UM2 has a maximum output of 1500mA per slot (an 18650 battery with 3500mAh takes about 2 hours to reach 80% charge). The LCD display provides real-time information on the charging status, pressing the "V" button will display the charging details (volume and charging time, charging current and battery voltage, battery type, charging mode)
When the battery is inserted into the charging channel, the charger will automatically select from 3 charging modes, recognizing the battery and then deciding the best charging mode. You can also choose to manually set the parameters you prefer by long-pressing the "C" button, which will take you to the settings menu.
The UM2 offers the ability to recover over-discharged IMR batteries. When an over-discharged IMR battery is inserted, the display will show the letters "EE EE", long-press the "V" button to enter the "restoration" mode. The display will show the same "EE EE" if a battery with a short circuit is inserted.
The Nitecore UM2 is compatible with IMR/Li-ion/LiFePO4 batteries (10440, 14500, 14650, 16500, 16340 (RCR123), 16650, 17350, 17500, 17650, 17670, 17700, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 18700, 20700, 21700, 22500, 22650, 25500, 26650, 26700) and NiMH/NiCd (AA, AAA, AAAA, C, D).
